Welcome to Classic Holden Car Club NT Inc.

The Classic Holden Car Club of the Northern Territory Inc. is a group of like-minded people of all ages with a common interest in old Holden's, generally over 30 years of age.

The club began in 1998 as the EH - HR Holden Club and was changed in 2000 to become the Classic Holden Car Club of the Northern Territory incorporated to involve a greater cross section of Holden owners. Membership currently stands at around 130.

The club caters for both original and modified cars in varying condition, not all cars are pristine as each owner has different ideals, tastes and use for their cars, members vehicles range from everyday hacks to award winning showpieces.

The CHCC is recognized as one of the major car clubs in the Northern Territory due to its very pro-active activities and presence in the community. Membership is about 130 members. We are a very informal group with a committee that meets monthly with all members invited to attend those meetings. We have monthly social events for members to attend ranging from Car runs, the Annual City to Souvlaki Greek feast, the All GM Day, Bare Foot Bowls, Ten Pin Bowling, cricket with MVEC etc.

The AGM’s is always a very well supported event with a free lunch thrown in. For us, time has shown that being relaxed and social is a good way to run a club with no onus on members to attend every event put on offer.

While its members are mainly from Darwin, Palmerston and the rural areas, we also have members from all over the Northern Territory.

The club produces regular newsletters that detail club activities and stories and members are invited to share their advice on all technical matters for the advantage of others.
